PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: June 25, 2026 · Effective: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ceelara (“Ceelara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and marketing platform (together, the “Services”). It also explains your choices and rights.
At this time, Ceelara provides Services to users located in Canada and the United States (collectively, “North America”). This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with that use.
Ceelara is a marketing platform built for real estate agents and brokerages.
In most cases:
- If you sign up for Ceelara as an agent or brokerage, you are providing information to us as part of operating your business account.
- If you submit a form on an agent’s or brokerage’s Ceelara landing page, that agent or brokerage controls how your information is used, and Ceelara processes that information to deliver the Services on their behalf.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
We collect personal information you provide when you:
- create a Ceelara account (account holder information such as name, business/brokerage name, email address, and related account details);
- use our Services to create landing pages and campaigns;
- submit a form on a landing page (such as name and email address, or other information you choose to provide in the form);
- subscribe to a newsletter or other communications from us.
Technical & usage information
We may collect technical information such as device and browser type, IP address (including for spam prevention and abuse monitoring), pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this information to operate the Services, keep them secure, and understand performance.
Payment information
If you purchase a paid subscription, payment processing is handled by a payment provider. We do not store full card details.
Imported contact lists
If an agent or brokerage imports contact lists, we may process those email addresses to help ensure they are usable and reduce abuse (for example, validation to remove invalid addresses).
How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- provide and operate the Services (including creating and hosting landing pages and sending emails or notifications);
- authenticate users and maintain account security;
- send transactional messages related to your account, leads, or billing;
- send marketing communications where required by applicable law and where consent is provided or another lawful basis applies (with an unsubscribe option where applicable);
- protect the Services and users from fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations.
Keyword Research (Google Ads API)
If enabled, we may use the Google Ads API to obtain aggregate keyword and planning information to help generate more relevant campaign content. This processing is based on aggregate data and not on leads’ or consumers’ personal information.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We share personal information only as necessary to operate the Services, including:
- with vendors and service providers that help us deliver the Services (such as hosting, email delivery, and fraud/spam prevention), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- with the relevant agent or brokerage, to the extent required for them to receive leads and campaign results generated through their landing pages;
- when required by law, or in response to lawful requests;
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of Ceelara, our users, and others;
- in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), subject to applicable legal requirements.
Email, Consent, & Unsubscribing
Marketing emails (such as newsletters and promotional messages) include an unsubscribe option. If you unsubscribe, we will honor your request within a reasonable time and suppress future marketing emails to the extent required by law.
Transactional emails (for example, account sign-in links, lead-related notifications, and billing/operational notices) are not marketing and may be sent without an unsubscribe link. You can still manage relevant communications through your account or by contacting us.
If you unsubscribe or your email address hard-bounces or is reported as spam, we may suppress future marketing emails to that address to help maintain compliance and deliverability.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- maintain sessions and authentication;
- understand usage of the Services and improve performance;
- help prevent spam and abuse.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that some features of the Services may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Lead and contact information collected through an agent’s or brokerage’s landing page is retained on behalf of that agent or brokerage. Deletion requests for such data should be directed to the agent or brokerage that collected the information, and we will assist as appropriate in our capacity as a service provider.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and disclosure. No security measure is perfect, but we work to safeguard information in our care.
International Transfers
Because the Services use global infrastructure and vendors, your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take steps intended to provide appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access and request correction, deletion, or other limitations on certain processing. You may also have rights related to withdrawing consent.
If your information was collected through an agent’s or brokerage’s landing page, that agent or brokerage is typically the party that decides how your information is used. Please contact them to make requests. We can assist them as needed.
If Ceelara is the party you are dealing with directly (for example, account-related requests), contact us at: support@ceelara.com
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a relevant privacy regulator in your jurisdiction.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will take appropriate steps to notify you as required by law.
